Have you tried the otc stuff? If that doesn't work ask your dr to prescribe Analpram cream.
use baby wipes w/ aloe and add some witch hazel to them

Only had the buggers once in life after a bad tummy virus in college.. Called it my "pet". I bought witch hazel pads and put that sucker on my pet, threw some old butt covers on, and laid on the bed butt up. (you really don't wanna Alternated that with Preparation H cream and baths in epsom salt.

Ginger, if it happens again or flairs back up, you should definitely go to your Dr. Hemorrhoids can fill with blood and then the blood clots causing very bad pain. They have to be lanced and the clots removed. I work for a doctor that has had to do MANY,,,,,,,,not a pleasant experience, but that is the only way they will reduce.
