The worse part was the first day, where I was so dizzy and had nasua from the anestesha. But, everyone was so great and tried their best to keep me from puking, etc.
I was up walking in about 3-4 hours after surgery. In hospital until Saturday afternoon. The besides the soreness, when the nurse removed the drain OMG that hurt.
So far so good. My stage 1 diet is fairly liberal: 3 protein shakes a day, cottage cheese (yuk), mashed potatoes (having today for Easter dinner), SF popsicles, yogurt, broth. I can handle this kind of stuff for 2 weeks. Haven't weighed and won't do so until at least Saturday or the folllwoing saturday. I am more looking for a "size" than a scale weight.
Who is doing your surgery, again?
