Guess What? 2 Funny!!!!!!!

 There's a big chance my surgery date is going to change because the 16th was a date the office used to get insurance approval and I call the insurance company 2 weeks ago and they told me my surgery date was down for the 16th... I jump the gun and didnt realize I only had a date not approval yet...to funny right (ROTFL), but the good thing is as of earlier this week I got my true approval and I spoke with Dr. Duncans office and they said that the insurance company called and said I was approved, now I have to wait until they get a hard copy before I get my surgery date, but Lolita at Dr. Duncans office said it will be this month for sure, so I'm ok with that as long as I'm approved I can live with it until it comes.

Thats pretty normal for the Drs office to request approval with a fake date.  Mine did the same thing.  It shouldn't change very much if at all. They usually allow several days to get the paperwork in.   Your on your way!!

The same thing happened to me.  Insurance told me that I was approved, because I harrassed them every day.  But when I called the office, they told me that Lolita had to set the date.  Just FYI though, When my surgery was being scheduled, Lolita ONLY made appointments each friday, as in friday was the day she should call you and give you all 5 of your appointment dates.  My surgery was scheduled 3 weeks from the date she scheduled me.  So if you want it this month, I would keep harassing them.  Make sure they don't let you fall through the cracks.  Good Luck and Congrats!!

CONGRATS!!!!! The most important thing is that you are approved!! Lolita is great and she will move everything along as quick as possible, she was my coordinator as well & I just loved her. Let us all know just as soon as you get your date!!!!
