CuriousCat's surgery TODAY!
Just thought I'd send a "shout out" to let everyone know that CuriousCat is having her surgery today. I don't know if she'll post before she leaves for the hospital...she has to be there at 10am. I'll be going to see her this afternoon (if the surgeon is running on-time, she'll probably be in recovery or just coming out of recovery when I get there). I'll post an update this evening!

I just got home from seeing CC. She's doing well. I saw her right after they moved her to a room from recovery. She's groggy/doped up, but able to talk (coherently) and having some pain. Dr. Macik told the family that everything went well with the surgery.
The nurse said she will be up walking by about 8:30pm and they will get her up every 4 hours to walk. She's able to have ice chips and will be progressed to a liquid diet tomorrow if everything goes well in radiology.
I will hopefully head over to see her again tomorrow.

Here's to that! I called Cigna today and it's "in review". Keep in mind, I could potentially be "in review" for the next 25 days....
It won't take that long. I am praying for you it will be done by Friday. That will be a Happy Spring present.
