Meet and Greet for west side of ATL???

Hi all! 

I live in Douglasville (just west of Atlanta) and would love to meet and socialize w/people going through, or that are veterans of WLS.

Stockbridge is quite a bit away from me. And I don't do well w/directions, rain and night driving (I'm ok if I know where I'm going).

So I was wondering if there were anyone closer to me that might like to get together.  Please don't think I'm trying to take away from the regular meet-n-greet!  That's not my intentions at all!!  I'm just whining  and would like to get together before my surgery on April 17th.

Anyone?   PM if you'd like, and if we can get a group together, I'll make the arrangements.  Doesn't have to be in Douglasville, but close would be great.

Again...please don't be be offended.  I'm not trying to take away anything from anyone!!

I also live in Douglasville.  I had my surgery in January, 2008 and have lost 93 pounds.  Would be happy to get together, just let me know when and where.

So far we have had someone pick a Day and a place and run with it!  Nothing set as a  standard.  We just try to do different areas to cover as many people as possible.  I was not at the meeting yesterday as my daughter had prom and don't know if maybe someone has committed to having the one in April or not but even if they have I'm sure if you wanted you could take May. Get with Lashelle and see what she has to say. 
By the way Im in Woodstock so im not too far from you.

Great idea. I will be on vacation til April 13, but you guys have a blast.  Will see you at the next one.

I live in Sharpsburg (between Peachtree City and Newnan) which is not far from Douglasville.  I will be traveling some during April, but if I am in town when you schedule the gathering I would love to attend.
