Thanks, J & J for your support. And it's so nice to have some of Dr. Smith's patients here!
It actually will have been a little over 3 months since Dr. Smith approved me into his program. (And I'm self-pay, so no insurance issues.) It took me almost a month just to get in to see my PCP to get the referrals. Then another five or six weeks to get all the tests in. (Looking back, I think it would have been much quicker if I didn't try to get them to put the last two together -- two different departments -- and just had them each done at their earliest time.) Then I needed a follow-up on my LAST test....go figure. And then we found a date that works for Dr. Smith and my out-of-town supporters coming to help me out...and me, of course. But all is well and I'm now scheduled to officially begin my journey with Dr. Smith's help....and of course the wonderful support from my OH friends. Can'tt wait!
I have my pre-op classes this Thursday and Friday. I think they split them up into two sessions since y'all had your surgeries....probably too exhausting to take it all in at once.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but CONGRATS!!!! Can't wait to se you Saturday. Bring a camrea so we can take plenty of before pics for your album.
