I was just wondering if anyone in the South Metro area goes to Gold's Gym in McDonough? I'm getting ready to join and was just wondering if I will see any familier faces.

No, not at the moment but I plan on joining a gym after my surgery...It'll either be Gold's or Curves, not sure...I know I should've done it before but finances dictated otherwise, lol!...If you find out any information about them or any gym for that matter, let me know and I'll do the same.

I hope to be going by there tommorrow or Wednesday. I'm super excited about joining Gold's. I did curves and really enjoyed it. I'm ready for different things now, and from what I hear this location assigns you a free personal trainer in the beginning and whenever you would like their help with your goals. I also work with this guy who goes there (he's built real nice) and he told me if I went when he was their he would help me out. When is your surgery? Are you going to the meet and greet on Saturday??

Hey Rhondazn, I dont live to far from Conyers. But I try to get everything close to my work since I am there 5 days a week, hehe. Have you had surgery yet?

LaShelle2, I technically wont be coming all the way from Monticello to work out because I work in Stockbridge. I've just heard good things about the one in McDonough and someone I know goes there and he told me he would help me work out. I'm really thinking about coming to the meet and greet, I would like to meet some of the people I talk to in person. I need some new friends shopping buddies, work out friends, etc... I havent really made any since I've moved up here back in 07. Will you be at the meet and greet? When are you having your surgery???

678-860-8806. It's on the Stockbridge end of hwy 138 a little past the bridge on the right side of the road if you're coming from Conyers. They have a big red circle sign.

You know there's a Golds in Stockbridge on Eagle's Landing Parkway. That's near my house, so I'll likely use both if I join.

How much was your Gold's membership? LA Fittness just announced a discount for state of Ga employees. I'd like to compare prices.

Yea, add me to the list. I know where its at, never been there but have seen it bunches, hehe. Yea I pass that golds a few times a week, as well as the other, just depends on which way I feel like going home. Here's what I've concluded about Gold's so far. It's $50 a month but not sure if thats with or without yearly membership, also right now they are offering a $1 start up fee coupon. Also, you can get a free 7 day trial. The one in McDonough is bigger from what I hear with a few more options. But honestly, the whole reason why I will join that location is b/c of the guy @ work who is willing to help me. He's been working out for like 20 years and is in great shape. He also has a sister who was banded a few years ago, so he sort of understands it a little. But as a member you can use any Gold's across the US.

I'm so excited about Saturday. Cant wait to meet everyone. Do I need to bring anything???
