Introducing myself

Hi everyone!!! I'm Amanda. I had lap band surgery on 1/8 with Dr. Richard in Gainesville. I've been lurking in this forum for a while so I thought it was about time for me to introduce myself! I live in Flowery Branch.

Hi Amanda!  We both had something life changing 1/8!  I got married that day!
Congratz on your surgery! I've been around a couple years but kinda dropped off the board for a year...but I'm back now...no surgery yet...but I'm working on it! 

I'm in Sandy Springs too!

As far as I know I didn't hear it before I realized it.
I've been doing a lot of soul searching and trying to
find ways to express how the food effects me and
that is the best way I could think to express it and share it
so that it maybe can make others think.  Please use it...I hope
it can help someone else realize what they are missing out on
because of their compulsion to overeat.

Hi and welcome!

I wanted Dr. Richard, but he is not on my insurance. I am going with Dr. Macik and finishing the insurance requirements.

I am a teacher too. I am working on my insurance requirements and I am going to use Dr. Macik. Have you gone for a visit yet? I am going the first week of April during my spring break.

Yes, I have done everything except the stupid online healthy steps to weight loss that Cigna requires. I am on week 3...9 more to go, if they ever get it up and running. I liked Dr. Macik and look forward to getting through the class so I  can get going!
