3 days out
I don't remember ever doing any dry heaving. Are you doing any warm liquids? I drank a lot of chicken broth after surgery. The warm liquids are suppose to be good about opening your band some and are usually easier to go down in the beginning than cold ones. Take it easy. This could just be your body adjusting to the surgery. If you can't keep your liquids down you difinitely need to call your doctor.
Hello Kendra56,
If you had the RNY, you should be doing room temp chicken broths and water, I was able to have jello and chicken broths, water for the 1st week. But if you are really having a lot of troubles you need to call your surgeons HOT LINE, and see if you might have a structure. Let me know how things ture out.
