Starting Weight: 325; Pre Surgery Weight: 314
I felt great after the second week. The first week really wasn't all that bad but you are really tired from the clear liquid diet. The second week is better with the full liquids but I was still tired. Third week was gravy. I am now 4 weeks out and feel great. So if everything goes perfectly and you follow the doctor's orders to the letter you should be ok after the second week. Also if they try to release you the same day just tell them no. They sometime try to release a patient that went early in morning and is doing well if they live close by. If you don't want to go home you don't have to!

Isn't the job liable to hold your position under the fmla law? Is it a temp agency you're working for? You can check the company website to see what the policy is. I know jobs are hard to come by these days, so do your research.
I wish I could have used one of the surgeons in Dr. Duncan's practice. Of all the seminars I attended I was really impressed with his. He seems to be genuinely concerned for his patients and is passionate about wls.
As far as the drama on the board... don't take it personally. Certain people on here ALWAYS try to stir up trouble. it's best to ignore and move on.
