Still not able to access the website and now, my telephone coach did not call me today for our scheduled session!

Cigna officially stinks!

call the Cigna coaching number.  Complain about the coach not calling (did you get the reminder call on Friday?).  And complain about the website not working.  I'm also still not able to get on.  I talked to someone at the coaching number today and she was going to put in a tech report or something like that.  I intend to call EVERY DAY and put one of those in if I have to!

I called the SHBP today to complain.  I spoke with someone very nice, she told me to start with an appeal letter.  I think it is so unfair that I have to START a twelve week program that I just found out about this past week.  At the very least, I should have been told about this in January.  This is so unfair.  I'm going to start the appeal letter tomorrow.

Did they say WHO to write the letter to?  Are you supposed to write it to the head of SHBP (Dr. Rhonda Meadows)?  Or did they suggest someone else?

And may I suggest we ALL write appeal letters.  I have no problem playing by

the rules but it's not right for them to change the rules in the middle of the game!

Please post the address. Eventhough I won't be delaying anything by having to do the coaching program., I believe it is very unfair for those that were already on target to have their surgery done.

I agree. We should ALL write appeal letters.  They should not implement this requirement until next plan year.  They should honor the requirements they advertised during open enrollment. That way, you would have had a choice whether to accept the requirments or choose another insurance company.

It is not fair to change the rules in the middle of the game, especially when you don't have the option if switching teams.

I think we should cc the letters to both Cigna and SHBP!

I already sent off a letter this morning to Dr. Rhonda Medows.  She is the head of the State Health Benefit Plan, appointed by Sonny Perdue.

Dr. Rhonda Medows
Georgia Department of Community Health Commissioner
2 Peachtree Street
Atlanta, GA 30303

I also wrote a letter last week to John Oxendine, the state insurance commissioner.  Who, BTW is a strong republican candidate for our governor's office next time around...

John Oxendine, State Insurance Commissioner

West Tower, Suite 704
Atlanta, Georgia 30334

If I figure out who else to write to, I'll post it!
