Getting Nervous

My surgery is next Wednesday and I am feeling really nervous today for some reason.  I don't really know why. Anybody else get like this?

mine is 3/27 ... and hell ya i'm nervous... that's normal. 

Hang in there it will be ok.... who is your doc and hospital?

I was fine up until the night before surgery. When I  was packing my hospital bag it hit me like a ton of bricks.  And when I got up and was at the hospital at 6:30am the next morning, I was fighting with myself in my head like " You know, I can just stay fat, I've been fat this long"  just head games with myself.  You will do great.  Best of luck!

When did you have your surgery? I just have to keep walking through this and when I get to the other side I will be so glad.

I had my surgery September 17, 2008.  I am almost 6 months out now.  I was so glad to have it done and over with.  Then the 'real' fun began. lol

Kendra I am so excited for you!! I'm not in your place yet, I don't have a date yet; but I'm sure everything will be just fine. You are going to do great! I can't wait to hear about your journey. I know I won't be too far behind you. I'm thinking I will be early or mid April. I go in for my pre-op testing next week.  I would imagine it's normal to feel nervous before any surgical procedure. But, it's going to be great on the other side.

Dr.Hart is great.... and John's creek is great too... I'm a 1/2 mile from there....makes it convienent for hubby and my sis is coming into town.

I got nervous when I was trying to decide to have the surgery.  By the time it arrived, I was psyched!  I jumped on that surgery table, threw out my arm  and told the surgery crew to get to work!  I was all too ready to start my new life!  You will do great and you will be sooooo happy you did it!
