I must admit, my post online was a lot tamer than the post I had written in my head. I'm all for a good rant, but LaShelle's post came across to me as a whine.
My point still is, take what you can get from it. It has to be done. Any of us who have been overweight for a long period of time do know all about good eating habits and for whatever reason we choose not to follow them. Or maybe we do and it still doesn't help. I'm not always a "Pollyanna"/see the glass as 1/2 full type of person, but since we have to do this, we should just grin and bear it. Personally, for me, the coach person makes me accountable to someone. And the big thing for me is exercise. I abhor exercise, not just dislike. So, we made a goal a few weeks ago about exercising. For several weeks ****il I broke my toe last week) I was doing 4 days a week/30 minutes exercise and I was "accountable" to my coach for doing it. It helped me. We should be glad we don't have the same hoops as the UHC members. We should be glad that the State is going to help us pick up the tab.

I don't post often, but feel the need to put my 2 cents worth in on this one. I think that we will all feel better when someone here jumps through the hoops and is actually APPROVED. Right now we keep hearing of different requirements that are not posted anywhere and it causes a lot of uncertainty and "whining". Hopefully someone will be approved soon and can tell us everything they did and give us more hope that it can actually happen!
