After Surgery

I am having surgery on March 11, can anyone give me some suggestions on what I need to go ahead and have on hand for when I come home from the hospital, as far as food goes???

You should be getting a list of items you can have after surgery from your Dr but I will give you a few ideas but make sure you follow his instructions and not mine.. LOL

SF Popsicles
Yogurt
broth / soups
Protein shakes 
apple sauce
jello

I had my surgery and am at home now. Today was my first day of protein. I have had to times today where I was nauses, once I was dry heaving. What am I doing wrong?
