Ok, so heres the deal....i had my surgery on january 21st and have lost 12 lbs, but i bet that was water weight and stuff from surgery. When am i gonna start seeing results?  Im following the eatting plan and am constantly hungry, which is odd right? How much should i be losing?  What could be wrong?

Thnx, Gin

Good Morning Gin,
Do not worry about your weight. But as far as being HUNGRY all the time, this is just your HEAD playing tricks. I went through the same thing, and it is really hard at times to stop listening to our HEADS.

Gin, when you feel really hungry drink water, and in time your weight will start coming off. Do not keep getting on the scales daily. This will make you feel like nothing is HAPPENING, I went a few months and then sometimes I only weighted when I went to the Doctor for my check up's. Boy then did I really have a WOW moment!

I hope that this helps!

Gin.
You had surgery 2 weeks ago.  12 lbs is 12 lbs.  Imagine looking 12 lbs in 2 weeks before.  HARD as crap or impossible I'd say for me anyway!  When you stop looking at the scale everyday you will be pleasantly surprised at how well your doing.  As far as you being hungry all the time I guess this is what they call head hunger.  Drink plenty of liquids and take your mind off food if at all possible.  Take up a craft or something to keep your mind off of it.  Hang in there and I bet in the next couple of weeks you will be doing cartwheels at how well you've done!!

Hugs.

My suggestion is when you get hungry to try a sugar free popsicle.  It will get a little fluid in and hopefully cut your craving/hunger out.  I LIVED on popsicles for a month after I had surgery.  I think in the first 5 weeks I lost 40 pounds.

I can't tell you how much you should not weigh every day!  Twelve lbs. in two weeks is not bad!  About the hunger, I can't relate to that.  I had nausea for a long time after surgery and that makes you really not hungry!  But trust me.............set a weigh day and weigh on that day of the week only!

Im just so frustrated.  I was hoping to lose like a pound a day and to get to stay off my diabetic meds, but my blood sugars still havent stabilized and i havent lost an ounce in a week.  I knw i shoudl just give it time, but how do you stop THINKING of food?  Im thinking of going to a hypnotheripist to try to fix my head.
