My daughter has a little Yorkie named Lollie, and she is very sick.  Since Sat she has gotten worse and the Vet is not sure what is wrong with her.  She is still a puppy and is so lovable.  She was given fluids on Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tues night.  They have also given her b-12, steroids, antibiotics, and tried other things.  She seems to get a little better then she hits bottom.  Last night we were at the vet after support meeting until about 11:00 p.m.

Today we took her to the University of Ga Animal Hospital, to see if they could figure out what is wrong with her.  The sad part is we had to leave her.  They put her in ICU and are doing tests.  There is pretty good chance that she has a liver shunt and if so will need surgery.  The sad part is she can't go on like she is.

My daughter, granddaughter & my husband & I  have been beside ourselves with worry.  Hope that we know something definite by tomorrow. WE are over 2 hours from the hospital, so that makes it harder.

Would you please PRAY for us and for Lollie.  She is one of God's innocent creatures and we know that prayer works.  Please keep us in yours.  Thanks

I am very sick and      need    your prayers....Lollie

Lollie is in my prayers, I am a Mom of a Yorkie as well and I know what you are feeling Bailey had liver problems a few months ago. Please be advised Yorkies do have alot of medical problems but with Prayer and a good Vet all things will work out.

Thanks for the prayers, she is having surgery in the morning at 10:00 a.m.  We plan on being there at about 8 so we can see her before surgery.  Probably won't go back till sun  What happened when your dog had liver  problems?  Is she - he OK now?  She has a liver shunt and will be in the hospital 3-5 more days.  We are 2 plus hours from the hospital.  But it is the best one you can take an animal to.  She is part of the family, and we only want the best for her...hope she is chewing on something she shouldn't be very soon.

You and your family are in my prayers.  I'm the "mommy" to 3 chihuahuas and they are just like my 2-legged children are to me.  I pray that Lollie is much better now and will soon be back home in the loving arms of her family.  I can tell she has a family that loves her very much. Prayers for her and y'all.  Vickie
