My Nut Mean Me Well... I Guest
Well saw my nut again on Wed and she explain to me again why she would like for me to wait, it's really my fault I ended up with her, I didnt realize I already had a Nutritionist in place until I looked over everything in my seminar packet...pliz make sure you take advantage of everything your surgeon has to offer, then too... you want to make sure there in your network so that you want have to pay more than you have to, but anyway she says she really want to see if I'm really ready for life after surgery she says if you can stick to a low calorie diet now you will have a better out come later she says it's always good to lose a little weight before sur.that makes it easier for the surgeon. i agreeed that it would be good so I have another apt. on Feb 5th so I promise yall I'm being patient, but if she dont give me clearance I think I'm going to blow, just kidden, but really I have took this time to really think on somethings this is serious my life is about to change and I'm sooooooo EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! ya Baby!!!!!

Hang in there it will happen! She is right about the loosing before if possible my surgeon said the same thing even if its just a little he said makes a huge difference!! Keep plugging and it will happen! If not you can look at other options and make it happen!

Thanks for the encouragement, my Dr.s office is located @ the Atlanta Medical Medical Bld Dr. Titus Duncan, but he also works out of Crawford Long everything I have ever had done was done @ Crawford I hope and pray I get to have my surgery @ Crawford, dont get me wrong I've heard good things about Atlanta Med. I just perfer Crawford I love that hospital they took really good care of me when both of my girls were born C-Section

I am approaching my one year anniversary for theRNY, let me tell you that the process before was so helpful. I had Kaiser Insurance and I had to do 3mos of psyche counseling and nutritional and it helped in the long run. I really understood why I eat the way I did and it really sunk in that I now eat to live rather than live to eat. I have lost 100 lbs and dropped 8 dress sizes I wore 22 womes and now wear size 10/12, more importantly I understand that this is a lifestyle change and not a quick cure, and I really feel that is what those session prior to the surgery helped me. So hand in there and do the things that the nut is expecting plus you will lose weight prior to which will help
