I Got My 1st LapBand Fill Today & Feel Great

He put in 3.5 cc.  Now 2 days of clear liquids, 2 days of full liquids, 2 days of soft mushy foods then regular low fat diet & chew, chew, chew.  It was done in Radiology at the hospital.  Last week he couldn't feel the port in his office.  Now he knows where it is so hopefully next time will be smooth sailing.  I guess it moved from where he put it.

I haven't yet figured out how to do the ticker tape.  From my first visit to the Dr I'm down 33 lbs.  45-50 more lbs to go.  I'm 4'6-1/2" so 78-83 lbs extra weight on me is looks like a whole lot more than the same amount on hubby.  He gets his first fill the beginning of Feb.

Congratulations!  Don't you love Dr. Maynard!?  I ended up having my surgery with Dr. Smith (see my blog), but I've never met a more caring doctor than Dr. Maynard!
