I had a strawberry protein shake for breakfast this am.
I didn't think I would ever do another protein shake again because as you know I lived on them foreva'  .... but.... I got a sample of bi pro protein unflavored from the lighten up expo.  They told me that it was the same protein as in the special K drinks that I'm so addicted to so  I thouhgt well I should atleast try it. HU?    Well I did and I have to tell you.  It was not bad at all!!!!

So what cha eattin good??

I've been struggling with the protein thing and have come across some good bars.
Snicker Marathon protein bars are very good. When I saw Snicker's made them I figured they had to taste good to use the Snicker's name.

I just had to share something I came across the other day.  My husband and youngest son were out shopping at kroger and the little one always enjoys gettting hunks of cheese and meats when we pass the deli.    The had out alot of different types and I tried a barbeque chicken chunk.  I have struggled with fish and chicken (and love them both) but they currently are not my pouches favorite by far.

I waited a bit and after realizing that I was fine and it was settling well, we decided to have them slice 2 half inch slices.  I have cut a few slices off to eat with cheese pieces and also chopped some up in a small salad.

There isnt ANY chicken I have been able to tolerate till this so Im pretty happy I stumbled upon it :)  I have even tried fish many different ways and it just doesnt sit well, maybe it will later.  Tuna is even kinda an issue most of the time, kinda dreadful huh? lol

I do really well with rare beef.  If we go out, I get a rare steak and take home all my leftover's, I then freeze half o what I bring home and when I get in a salad mood I thaw it out and have it with cheese and FF dressin.......very yummy!

I have lots of nuts here to snack on tho, my favorite ones were just discontinued by Emerald's..........just goes to show my luck yanno? lol

I keep hydrated tho, and live off of light orange juice with lots of ice......Im addicted to this stuff :)  havent had a cold yet this winter either **knock on wood** lol

Everyone mentioned stalls and finally one ha**** me, its been a week at one weight, Im down 70 pounds, now weighing 212, Im hoping the gym will help me to step it up and get my motor running again! lol

have a great day!
HUGZ!

I tried one of the recipes for Asian lettuce wraps I got from one of my cook books I picked up the the Lighten Up Expo. All I have to say is YUM!! They were so good!! I am taking some leftover to work for lunch tomorrow and I am excited about it. Tomorrow I am cooking a Burgandy Beef Stew from the same cookbook and hopefully it will be just as good!

I went to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods this week.  I live in Sharpsburg so that is a journey for me but now think it may be worth a regular trip.  I live alone and still get nauseated REALLY easy so individual servings of things are good.  Trader Joe's has a lot of individual frozen things.  My current favorite is quiche.  They even have them without crust.  I also got a breakfast empanada at Whole Foods which works well.  They have a whole wheat crust so now quite as bad on carbs.

Have you tried Dreamfield's pasta?  They sell it at Wallmart.  I don't really understand the chemistry but it has only five grams of digestible carbs.  I tried it today and it tastes great.  You just need to cook it a little longer than the box says.
