SOOOOOOO UPSET!!!!!!!!!!

Well my nut is giving me a hard time I have clearance from all others except her she's tripppin, she wants me to wait another month before she gives me a clearance because she wants to make sure I'm ready for the surgery ahhh duhh!!!! I'm 311lbs and 10 years burned out from every diet plan, excercise program and even supplements you could think of. She says your insurance company will need 6 months of a report before they appove it . i called and they said no!!! the only thing they need is clearance from my PCP or surgeon and he already said he's ready to sign off we are just waiting for her I dont know if she's really concren or just trying to give me hard time, she made me feel like I had no idea what I was doing asking me have I talk to someone about some of the things that takes place afterwards, and I told her yes I've researched the surgery for the last four years she tells me research is not enough I dont know maybe she's out for my best interest I know she made me upset when she said that she's not going to give me a clearance until Come back in a month to see her she wants me to lose wieght by sticking to this low calorie diet then she may give it to me mind you my visit is $25 every time.

Thanks I not sure whats wrong with her, my husband says maybe she's just concern and I'm taking it the wrong way because I'm just ready for it to be over.

No not yet, I havent had a chance to sit with him.

Well, as much as it irritates you, you probably don't have much choice. You could see someone else, but by the time you get an appointment scheduled, it will likely be about a month anyway.  Does your doctor have any communication with her? Maybe he could appeal to her on your behalf if he is comfortable that you're ready.

I'd be looking for another nut anyway if I were you. Since, you want someone you'll feel comfortable using if you need followup care after the surgery. If she's really ticked you off, I imagine you don't want to use her.

Don't give up, keep your eyes on the prize sister friend! It will be so worth it when the B.S. is over, and you are finally on the Loser's Bench. I was denied by a CRAZY evaluator, and I had to go all the way back to my primary physician, and ask him to contact the  medical director of my HMO medical group. He did that for me, thank God. I also filed a grievance with my insurance company, Anthem Blue Cross. We were not sure whose complaining was more effective, but after 3 months of battling from both sides, we finally got the approval. It was a miserable, teary 3 months of begging God each and every day to help me out of the emotional and physical prison I was in, within my old body. I am 5 months post op, and 80 pounds down. I thank God every morning for his grace and mercy in my life. Keep your chin up, you will make it. I also got a letter from a counselor, stating that I had no emotional issues that would prevent me from being successful with surgery. Is it possible for you to do that? Good luck!
