I joined a gym like a good girl.  I am so excited!!  UP until now I was only walking.  I worked out for what seemed like forever yesterday but I know I was just figuring out the machines so it really wasn't that long.   I am stiff today but not too bad!   Any good advice to a newbie on exercising?

You go girl!!! I can't wait to feel comfy enough to even step into a gym.  I tried Ladies Workout, but they closed the one by my job. Golds and LA Fittness are too intimidating, and Curves isn't convenient.

Working out should lessen the loose and flabby skin.

Ginger,
Good for you! That is great. I have been going but am trying to find the right excercises to do. I find that reading magazines and searching the net help me find good exercises and usually show proper form. Check with your gym and see if they offer any free personal training sessions. Mine offers 2 for joining and this usually gives you a good starting point. Unfortunatly I can not afford any more sessions then that they are to expensive!!
