New Info for GA State Health Benefits??

YEAH LASHELLE, I HAVE STARTED MY PRE-OP DIET AND HOPEFULLY I CAN SELL MY NURSE ON THE IDEA THAT MY PCP STARTED ME ON MY DIET ALREADY, AND SHE ALREADY WRITTEN MY MEDICAL NECCESSITY LETTER. I HAVE DECIDED TO GO WITH DR T. DUNCAN TO DO MY SURGERY. I WENT TO HIS SEMINAR AND WAS IMPRESSED.

DR. DUNCAN OFFICE MAILED ME PAPERS ON SATURDAY STATED THAT I AM CLEAR TO SUBMIT MY CLEARANCES. (THIS HAPPEN A FEW DAYS AFTER I MAILED MY PAPER WORK BACK IN FROM THE SEMINAR.

SO NOW I AM JUST WAITING ON THE DAMN INSURANCE CO.

Are you seeing Duncan or someone else in his office?  They would have been my top choice if I hadn't opted for the DS.

my mom had the RNY over a year ago by Dr. Burrows, and his office was so great to her. I met Dr. Titus in the elevator while visiting her in the hospital. he seemed like a very nice guy. i know people hate atlanta medical, but most of the nurses in bariatrics are nice, funny, and helpful. good luck!

Well Izzy I'm in the same boat as you. I'm kinda out of the boat LOL! I am still trying to make

heads and tails on the behavioral therapy. It's so... Frustrating when UHC doesn't have any

answers. They truly suck at this. I guess I will just have to wait, But in the meantime P.U.S.H.

Hi You All.....  Here is my up date....I got the call from the nurse who gave the steps I must go thur....so  I have had my first visit with my doctor....and I had to call the behavior health people becasue no one called me from that department......They gave me a code so i could call a doctor to start me counseling.....but I am still waiting fro behavior health to call me with info for the exam part of counseling.....I have a question...How does this work? I have never been to counseling for anything...so what can I expect? and what are they looking for?   Thanks for any information you can give......
