ECL Seminar

It was helpful and the people were nice, if a little scattered. The nutritionist was late and Dr. Davis seemed knowledgeable and pleasant, but looked about 16.

I do not like the $600 up front payment for nutritionist and support groups. I do not want to drive all the way into Atlanta for support groups. I am planning to attend one in Gainesville. I think I will go ahead and attend a Northside seminar. Dr. Richard, who was going to do my surgery several years ago is affiliated with them, so it may end up  being a good thing.

If you went, what did you think?

You'll find many of the surgical practices charge for "something".  ECL wants $600 for something like 3 nutritionist visits and support groups...Dr. Daly's office gets $2500 (not paid by insurance) for their support group (I don't know what else it covers)...Dr. Macik's office requires $250 to file your insurance. 

So several of the groups charge for something or other...but not all have such a charge.
