Hello.

OK so let's talk about SEX since you brought it up....

When I got married around two years ago, I weighed about 30 lbs less and my sex life was sooo much better than it is now..

My sex drive has diminished so much since I gained the extra weight.  I am attributing it to me just not feeling really sexy therefore not wanting to be intimate with hubby..  he thinks I'm crazy of course, but he's been very understanding..

Now, here's my ?, what has different folks experiences been during different phases of the wls journey?  Is sex better?  Worse? Are you more self conscious?

LOL LOL LOL...your first sentence made me crack up at my desk. Good morning. For me its definetly BETTER and more frequently. I was initally worried (and needlessly so) about my new "jiggle factor", but of course the guy I'm with has NO PROBLEM with it at all.

I'd also like to add that although I'm only "sleeping" with one guy I am dating quite a few and for some odd reason all my new "friends" like to PICK ME UP. 

Everytime it happens I'm like weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.

I swear, no prodding on my part...its like a friend will be hugging and kissing me goodbye and the next thing you know my feet have completely left the ground and I'm feeling like this petite cute lil thing. I LOVE IT!!!

I'm 5'6 and weigh 196 pounds, but it makes me feel like I'm 5'2 and 115 pounds (smile).

The bedroom action is better too...a lot more exciting, fun positions, getting picked up and tossed around here too (dang, do I sound ****ty?) If you answered yes then good, my job here is done! :-)



 

My husband tries to pick me up all the time.. but I never let him... even though sometimes I wish he would.. i always think he'll hurt himself..

Sex....hmmm....a subject that I have no recent memory of.  My last semi-serious relationship was back in 2001.  I've dated, though not very much since then (maybe 1 1/2 yrs since my last date).  But I have too much on my plate now anyway.

are u coming to the Meet n Greet?

Not sure yet.  It depends on how the stars line up next week.  After work, I have part time work.  On Fridays, I don't generally finish until about 6:15 or 6:30pm.  Then, it would take me a good 30-40 minutes to get to The Cheesecake Factory.  And I'm usually beat on Fridays.  I don't know, we'll see.  If I can leave my full time job about 30 minutes early, it would make all the difference.

No excuses. You should come. Friday is actually the ONE day I can leave the ofc at a decent hour and head home, but I'm gonna hang around JUST so I can make it to the dinner, when all I really want to do is go home and shut down the blackberry and chill. Come on...it'll be fun. You folks seems to know eachother - I'm the newbie on this GA board...come hang with your peeps. :-) 

Actually, I was looking at my calendar, next Friday i have a meeting I HAVE to go to from 2-4, which means I'm leaving LATER than my usual time and no way can I leave early.  We'll see if I can make it.  I may not know for sure until I'm finished with my part time stuff afterward.
