TOPIC OF THE DAY: What's Your Skinny Goal?

We all have some things we desire to do after weight loss. For me its:

-Having smaller feet (now in a 10WW). I pray they at least
shrink in width and I don't have to wear granny shoes all the
time. Oh, how I would love to strut into a room with 2" heels.

-Not having to use the handicapped stall in the dressing room
or bathroom because I bump into everything in the regular
  sized ones.

-Shopping for clothes that don't have a big ominous "W"
beside  the size. By the way skinny girls, the "W" stands for
  women's
not wide!

So pre-op people, What are your top 3 goals?

Post op people what were your top 3 goals before wls? Have you met any of them. What was it like when you were finally there? Give us fluffy people some inspiration. :-)

1.  Being able to up and down stairs without knee pain.
I was able to do this at 2 years post op. I signed up for a personal trainer class at my gym which
included walking and  up a steep hill-10 up and 10 down at a local park . This lasted for 4 weeks and at the end of the 4 weeks session I was able to up  the
hill 10 times and down the hill 10 times.  That was a wow! moment.

2.  Being able to  at myself in the mirror  and  the Diva that was looking back at me.

This happen at the 2 year  post op. I was a slow loser. My favorite song is called Just Fine by Mary J. Blige and there is a line in the song that says: So I like what I see when I'm looking at me when I'm walking past the mirror"-Just Fine!

3.  Eating healthy daily.
This happen by 1 year post op. I will be 4 years out on January 3, 2009 and I have not gained any
weight. I continue to use portion control for all meals and snacks. I prepare all meals and snacks at home. I take my lunch and snack to work everyday. I eat my meals off a small saucer
and not a plate. I don't eat and drink at the same time. I follow my doctor's rules 100%:

No sweets

No sodas

No fried foods

No more starting a new diet on Mondays. I no longer worry about my weight because I eat small

portions and  throughout the week at my gym. Group fitness helped me achieve my
weight loss. I got over my , poor self image, and moved to the front of the class.

WLS helped release the real me from the shell that I had been hiding in for 20+ years.

My feet went from a size 8 to a size 61/2. I wear heels to work daily.

Pre-op here:

1. Cute little black dress for the annual Black and White Ball here in town.

2. Sexy strappy heels to wear with the little black dress.

3.  I'd like to be able to do a toe touch again (I was a cheerleader high school).

Great topic!  So many goals here pre-op, it's hard to narrow it down to just three.
The first three that come to mind:

1.  To be able to comfortaby fit in an airplane seat again without having to "hold myself in" for the entire flight or see that look of "man, I hope she's not sitting next to me."

2.  To be able to go horseback riding again without worrying about hurting the horse.  (Yes, I know this is silly, but....)

3.  To comfortably fit into that silver strapless dress I wore to a casino night in college.  (I still have it after all these years.)

and I have to mention the extra one that I'm sure is true for all of us.
4.  To be healthier
