Dr's offices

Hello Roxy, who did you speak with at Dr. Williams office? There is a lady named Stephanie that is handling things there try and give his office a call again and only I repeat only speak to her. She will give you all the information that you need. She is very pleasant. i'll call her tomorrow and tell her that you will be calling. I know there are some problems over there and now things are better.

I wish I got her name but I did not. I have talked to Janet with Dr. Williams office(before this incident) and she was very pleasant and helpful, but this one woman was so HORRIBLE it made me forget that Janet was not like her. But, even though Janet was so pleasant that woman on Monday made want to have no part of Dr. Williams office. Especially after she stated that I fill out the form and he dcides if he will select me as a patient than an appointment is set up, when do I get a decision if he is the surgeon for me?

Hey! Sorry you had a bad experience with Dr Williams office staff.  I have dealt with Jackie and Janet there...and I LOVE both of them!  I cant believe that anyone there would be rude to you. I did get a packet from them...I sent it back and made my appointment! It was really simple! I didnt hear any business about him "accepting" me or whatever.

Dr Williams is having a seminar on the 10th. I'm a bit biased, of course, but I love Dr Williams...and would strongly recommend that you come n meet him!  I've already had surgery with him...but I'll be attending with a friend of mine who is in the process of finding a Dr.

Which doctors do you have to choose from, or does your insurance accept anybody? Which surgery are you considering?

I can choose any surgeon I want as long as they accept my insurance which it looks like they all accept my insurance. I am considering Lap Band.

I live in Carrollton, Ga, BUT after much research had my surgery in Anniston Al.  I was always treated with respect and kindness any time that I have called their office.  Anniston is not that far from the Atlanta area, and we are talking about your health.  I have never called them that I did not talk with someone who could answer my questions and they would find out the answer.  When you call to set up an appointment, they will not ask you to fill out any paperwor****il you have been to the seminar.   In my opinion IF they want paperwork before you even see them, they are wanting to find out IF you insurance will pay.  How do they know you are not self pay or what.   Maybe they ask in the paperwork. 

I can't say enough good about Dr Freeman and his whole staff.   They are all very knowledgeable and would never be rude to a patient.   If they are giving you hassles before you even get an appointment, what will it be like after you have surgery and have an issue.  Will you be able to get answers.

Which every Dr you choose, and there are mane great ones, Just make sure you do your homework and feel comfortable with him or her.  Good Luck and let us know how your journey is going.

I didn't know Dr. Freeman was doing wls again.  When I called them last year they said they had stopped.  Interesting.

I am 99% certain that he never stopped doing WLS.   Are you sure that you are talking about Dr Bryan Freeman in Anniston Al?

hmmm well maybe i called another dr. freeman in anniston.  I'm pretty sure it was the right one though b/c my bf had rny a few years ago and she highly recommended him to me..
