Dr. Duncan performed my surgery on Sept 10th. 

I wasn't happy about having it at his new facility(Atlanta Aestetic Ctr) instead of the hospital.  I feel I was basically pushed out the door.  I showed up for surgery at 8:30, surgery was over at 1:00 and at 3:00 I was getting in the car to come home.  That was WAY to much to be honest.

I'm still on the fence with everything.

 

Did you say you had surgery in a Center and not a hopital.. that is neglect.. you should only have surgery in a Bariatric Center for Excellence hospital... and for RNY it's two nite stay.. minimum

I used Dr. Hobson who is in his practice.  I stayed the normal 2 days at Atlanta Medical Center but I was told that the week before I had surgery (Sept 17) Dr. Duncan had decided to only keep his patients 1 day  because the only reason for staying overnight was to have the swallow the next morning to check for leaks.  He apparently had concluded from his research that the swallow the next day wasn't any more effective in detecting leaks than what he already does during surgery.  At that time, Dr. Hobson still kept his patients overnight but didn't require the swallow.  Just FYI.  I am completely satisfied with my surgeon and you could have Dr. Duncan, Dr. Rashid, or Dr. Hobson. (I didn't get to choose mine)  Hope this info helps. Good Luck!

My Surgery is on Dic. 3 with Dr. Hudson I will be at Emory.  He told me it was going to be 2 days.

Bad Press ...are  you freaking kidding me... He nearly killed Ga Girl.. I met her for lunch and she showed me pics... so go right ahead if you want a negligent surgeon...

I don't understand why you would want to risk your life...and Atlanta Med Cnter is not a good hospital... not at all

There are sooo many better surgeons in Atlanta... You are hereby forewarned..
