Question...
Iam 5 years out. I had my surgery done by Dr. Titus Duncan himself, very thrilled about that, but now I hear that he is doing plastic side of the surgery?? Anyone know where this office is? What the number is or anything??
Thanks,
Wendy

Wendy,
Here is a link to his plastic surgery center.

The address that was given by another poster is his regular office. (appts for bariatirc surgery, follow ups, etc. ) I'm sure you have been there a hundred times. lol
I actually had my lap band surgery at the Asthetic Center on Sept 10th by Dr. Duncan.
Also, he has a plastic surgery book in his regular office(the suite 224 one) and I would suggest you take a look at that.
I love the fact that he did my lap band but not the plastic surgery. (just look at the book, lol)
Hope this helps.
Sandra
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it seems like Dr. Duncan has his hand in too many pots. If I'm going to a surgeon for weight loss surgery, I want that to be the only thing he does...better chance of him/her staying up to date on all the latest techniques and research. If the surgeon is doing WLS and plastic surgery, he's got to split his continuing education time and money on two different specialties. Means he may not be getting the most recent information on either specialty.
You wouldn't go to a heart surgeon for brain surgery...or a neurosurgeon for WLS...would you?
I can't speak for Dr. Duncan as I don't know him, and I don't personally know anyone who has used him or had any experience with him. My observation is more of a general one.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

Just because you are scheduled for surgery with his group, does not mean that he is the one doing your surgery. You only find out which one of the partners is doing your surgery on that date. Could be he is the most recognizable name in the group, so he is doing the seminars, and just not the surgery.
Would be interested in anyone who has had him preform their surgery recently ???
