Howdy folks. According to our ins. plans, does anyone know if we will be able to go to any Dr. we want for f/u care after wls? For things such as fills after lapband? I haven't called and asked this but I guess I will on Mon.

I'm pretty sure just so long as the doctor is in-network, it wouldn't be a problem. I mean, even though we only have 3 hospitals (on Cigna) and 2 hospitals (on UHC) to chose from, you can use any doctor who works out of those hospitals for surgery, as long as they are in network. So, I would expect you can use a doc closer to home for fills. Your problem might be, will a doctor who didn't do the surgery be willing to DO your follow up care?
