Monthly Dinners ????

Back in the day ......We use to meet up once a month for dinner.  and someone different would host it so it was always in a different city and closer to some this month and then closer for others the next month........Do you guys do anything like this anymore????

I guess with me being home alone ....My husban is in Iraq i am looking for soemthing to do and people to meet ......

That is an awesome idea.  I have been kicking around the idea of trying to do a meet and greet kinda thing, but was thinking of a restaurant. Your idea is much better, more intimate, easier to talk to everybody.....

Count me in, although its a haul out to my place in the wild and woolies of Paulding County.

Yeah! We usta meet. Although, I never got to meet you. Let's do it some time. Are you home all the time or what? Are you working now? I am home everyday all day except for when I go to the gym.

hey there ....actually i am working ...i am an appraiser now so i get to work from home for part of the week (like today).  so it is nice.  I am planning on sigining up for my Jazzercise classes again tonight and get back to doing that three times a week.  I have a bug guy coming tonight at 5 so i hope he is one time so i can get over there by 6:15. 

But i miss eveyone ...i was good friends with a bunch of people and i think as we all lost weight and got more acvite we all moved away from the web site and lost touch.  eveyone was always so sweet and supporitve and all ........i miss that ......


I need to lose about 30 more pounds and i have just re gained 10 ( with my mom passing and my husban going to Iraq two days later) needless to say i went back to eating my way thru things.  but i have stoped and now need to work out and get teh 30 off.

I remember those meetings.  They were lots of fun.  I went when I was trying to get aproved several years ago.  I noticed lots have changed since then. The GA forum seems smaller then it did then too.   I would love to start something like that again especially now that I have actually had surgery.   We also had secret pals and did christmas exchanges.  It was great fun.  If you get anything going let me know. Im in.
