I was a patient at Atlanta Medical Center for a knee surgery. The nurses were soooo unresponsive. My sister had to have her surgery there.  She had some left over percocet from another procedure and when I could not get any nurses to respond to her pain I gave her one of the ones she brought. They were giving her percocet at the hospital anyway. I know many of you will think that is dangerous. However, I would wait the 4 hours between doses but sometimes I had to wait an additional 2 hours for a nurse to bring me my pain pills after asking. I did not want my sister to suffer the same misery I had to. Since I have not had my weight loss surgery yet I do not know what the pain level is. But, if you are going to Atlanta Medical Center I would be prepared.
