We've been approved!

Hubby and I both have been approved for LapBand.  First try.  Originally said our insurance wanted  6 months worth of documentation.  The first 3 months was sent in and they approved both of us.  WOW - that was totally unexpected.   Now my dilemma is I had a partial knee replacement done Sept 9 thinking I had 3 months to go before approval.  Now I need to wait a bit until my knee heals a bit more before I can schedule the LapBand.

What insurance company is the best to go with? If I was to choose the HRA plan what is the out of pocket expense?

We both have Aetna HMO through work.

Congratulations.  Dr. Maynard's office works so hard for all of their patients.  I was also approved I am going to have the DS.  Now I am just waiting to find out the date of my surgery.

Are you going to be at the support group mtg tomorrow night?  I plan on being there.  I'm still off work from having partial knee replacement surgery.  If I had known we were going to be approved so quick I would have waited and done the knee after the lapband.

You can't miss me.  I'm the short lady with the purple flowery cane.  Will probably have my hair pulled up in a ponytail.  If hubby makes it there he will be coming in late due to his drive from work. 

We are waiting to find out when we go for the barium swallow test - that sounds ackkk.
