Hey Ya'll!

I tried to post yesterday and it didn't come through!

I am new to OH, but have wanted to have this done for soo long! I found out this week that my insurance is going to cover WLS in 2009 and I got right to work doing research and getting prepared. I am leaning toward banding, but not totally committed to it. Still researching...I am a type 2 diabetic, have high blood pressure and have sleep apnea. I look forward to getting healthy and active!

I have chosen my surgeon and will attend his seminar in two weeks. He did my hernia repair this summer and I adore him!

I am a mom to one little boy, wife and teacher in north Ga. I am looking forward to making friends and giving and getting support in this journey! I have enjoyed lurking and reading the board this week.

My name is Jeannie and I'm OH Support Group Leader on the South side of Atlanta. I'm 2.5 years post op RNY, I have never felt better. This journey has been the best and I would not change anything that I have done. I have also met some really great people here and they are all wonderful.
