Hello Everyone,

I'm Home.   I made it back from Ft Gordon this afternoon.  I had surgery Wednesday Sept 17, 2008.  I'm feeling pretty good haven't had any problems...knock on wood.....  I'm still on pain meds but other than that i'm good.  Haven't jump on the scale yet but i'm sure i have lost some lbs.  Really not intrested in finding out til I go to my post op in two weeks.  I wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes from everyone, they are greatly appreciated.  I had a question, does anyone have any recipes for clear liquid diet besides broth, sugar free jello, crystal light.  I need a varity!  Please let me know, it's great to finally be on the losing side.

Welcome Back ,   I'm sure your better off being home now.  Dr Chasen is a great Doc and I know you will be fine. You drop the weight just the way you need too. Believe you me it only gets exciting from here.   Ice Cream and Pop Sickles are great to start off but like you said a variety is the key.  Stay positive and keep charging and we wil all be smiling.  A lot of the receipts from egg face is great and you can invent some also with the broth's.   Again soo good to hear from you and lets keep the posts going.  Congrats Rhino

Hey there, welcome home! Glad to hear all went well and you're doing okay.  I 2nd the vote for the sugar-free popsicles; it feels like you're actually 'eating' something when you're having one, and that is nice when pretty much everything else you can have is in a liquid state. Take things slow and easy, take care of yourself, and I can't wait to hear how you're doing after your next follow up! If nothing else, see you at the next support meeting at Winn, I hope.
