Peachtree Surgical-ATL

Is anyone currently working with Peachtree Surgical? I just sent in all my clearances and was wondering how long it usually takes before they get the ball rollin....insurance submission and other steps? Also once you get an appt to see the doc do they give you a surg date on that visit?

My first appointment with Dr. Steinberg was in June and My surgery is September 4th.  I have Tricare Insurance and when I got all my clearance letters to my doctor, then I had my last Dr. visit.  They sent in a referral and it was appoved the following day.

God just opened all the doors for me.  I am so excited.

Don't give up, you will have a surgery day soon, and we both will come out Peachy.

It really just depends on what your insurance requires, etc.  I went to the first seminar in February, had my psych evaluation and nutrition/exercise consultation in April and then getting my letter of necessity and diet history, it was submitted to the insurance company the end of May and approved 2 days later.  You are not given a surgery date until your insurance approves the procedure.  I waited to have my surgery the end of July because of work, but I could have had it much sooner.
