I have a date!

Hi everyone. I have been lurking for a VERY LONG time and post every once in a while.  Today I actually scheduled a date.  I just have to wait for blood work, and hopefully it's a go.  I have gone through so much to reach this point that it's just so hard to believe.  Tomorrow I start my pre-op diet, pre-op visit is Tuesday, and surgery is the following week.  After such a long struggle and so many seemingly insurmountable struggles, I can't believe it's happing so fast.

I look forward to getting to know you all and meeting some of you at support meetings and that sort of thing.
