Psych Eval date change
Ok, so my psych evaluation was supposed to be tomorrow but after talking to my insurance company this morning and Dr. Pope's office, it's boiled down to this......
We have BC/BS PPO, and Dr. Pope is in network but we haven't met our deductible yet (I am new to my husbands insurance and he NEVER gets sick obviously lol) So, we would have to pay for the whole amount at time of him seeing me, $325.00.
The main reason for calling the doc's office today tho was to reschedule for Friday or Monday because my hubby works nites in Atlanta at the airport and the doctor is IN Atlanta so we needed to wiggle our way around the timing...........so it's now Friday at 4:00 (he is off Friday nights)
The BEST part of this change was finding out we only have to pay $153.00! YEAHHHH (the rest can go towards protien drink samples??? LOL)
Ok, Im ready................and excited...............and well on my way!

I'm glad to hear that you going to be able to see the PYL. on Friday. I know that you want to get this out of the way just as soon as you can. Keep me posted on the out come and when your date for surgery is.

I'm not nervous, more excited than anything, sound odd? The added bonus is that I have some alone time with my husband with it being on a friday evening, we might venture out in Atlanta afterwards and grab some dinner somewhere nice :)

I know that you are a bottle of nerves at this time. I know that when I was getting ready for my RNY, I could not wait to have it over so that I could have my life back. That has now been 2 years ago this past July 27,2008. I'm really loving all the things that I'm able to do now and wanting to help others that want to gain a healthier life.
Pam, if I had not been able to have my surgery I think that my life as I know it today would not be as good as it is. I'm able to really enjoy all the things that I really love to do.
I want you to know that as a OH leader I'm here for you and will be able to help you all that I can along your way.

Thx so much for your kind words and support! I am nervous in such a small way, so excited in such a HUGE way! lol....
I have made so many changes in my life over the past 2 years, all for the better, I have learned to relax and let go, not keep things bottled up, this has helped me ALOT!
Im so thankful to have this board! Adding you all to my wonderful GFs I surround myself with has made my life very sweet!

Im ready to go camping (buying a small RV next year) horseback riding, EVERYWHERE I havent been able to go to physically :) (at least for a long time! lol)

It is so good to hear that you like camping and horse back riding. These were a lot of things that I loved to do as well. It was just last year that I met a wonderful man that has really lighted my life. We go a lot of different places and we love riding our bikes that we got this year. I have really enjoyed camping, but we have been using a tent. It has really been fun!
I'm so happy that you are going to be able to do all the wonderful things that you really love to do once again.
