UPDATE-Dr.Williams

I had a sucessful consult with Dr.WILLIAMS who made me feel at ease quickly.He answered my questions without hesitation and did not rush me or talk down to me.He has a quiet but confident and kind way about him.(JMO).The nurse and staff were also pleasant.

I have a few tests to do(started today)andas soon as they are done He will give me a date! I DARE TO BE HOPEFUL!

I love Dr. William's, he gives off such a nice relaxing feel to this whole process!  He is about an hour from me but he is well worth it!

Jackie is the best, she will do whatever she can to make this as easy as possible!

Maybe we will bump into each other soon, so keep me posted on when your surgery get scheduled!!!

I loved Dr Williams too!!!  I have surgery scheduled with him on 9/29 and I'm VERY excited about it! 

His staff is also WONDERFUL!

We were in Canton, near it, yesterday, we went to the Kennesaw Pigs and Peaches festival, its going on today too so if you dont have anything to do you should go voer to it.....

I'm interested in making friends with people on here....especially those who have used Dr Williams!

I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what to expect during my pre-op appointment with Dr Williams??  I havent received the packet from them yet....and I'm dying to know!!   

We were grouped together to watch a vid about the types of surgeryand complications etc.The nurse  Janet(who has had the surgery herself)goes over the quiz and the correct answers.She will take your picturefor the file.Then we were given one on one time with Dr.Williams to ask any questions we wanted.He asked to feel my belly.and listened to me breathe.Then he told me the test results he needed before wecould set a date.Then,I talked with Jackie about insurance and out of pocket expensesIt wasn't painful at all!No worries.

I had Dr. Williams too. He is great. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor's staff before. After I got home from my surgery I experienced some nasuea and vomiting and when I called the office I had to leave a message for Janet. She called me back within the hour and gave me some great suggestions to help fight it off. I never ended up needing nasuea medication. Jackie is good too in getting insurance paperwork filed. As a matter of fact in the process of waiting for approval I moved and the phone company was supposed to keep my old number but they changed it on me. The whole time Jackie was trying to get in contact with me to tell me I was approved. She sent an email to have me call their office. That was just amazing to me that she took the time to do that. I am 3 months out and I can still call them at any time and ask questions. Good luck to you...and the consultation is so easy. You almost feel like you did not do enough because they have everything done for you.
