Lap Band Support Group Meeting

There is a Lap Band Support Group meeting tonight June 24th at 7:00 pm at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.  We will meet in classroom one of the Medical Office Building.  The address is 6325 Hospital Parkway just off route 141.  If you would like more information just call Rita at 678-474-8222.  Everyone is welcome, so if you have had your surgery, or just thinking about having this surgery, you can still come and enjoy the group.   See you there....

Can you tell me how often the LAP Band support group meeting are held? I know I have to attend one prior to my surgery with Dr. W. Johnson

The Lap Band Support Group meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.  This meeting is just for Lap Bands.  Then we hold 2 other support groups if you would like to attend.  The second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm is the general support group and it is a good mixture of lap band patients and bypass patients, as well as people who want more information about the surgeries. Then the third Wednesday of the month is the "Veterans" or those people who have already had surgery. All meetings are at 7:00 pm.
