Dr A also does the lapband.  I'm not sure what the price is but I believe it's cheaper than the sleeve.  Check out his site www.endobariatric.com.  The price should be posted there.  I understand your frustration about the insurance company.  I had Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield.  They seem to cover every surgery known to man except the sleeve. I felt I was worth it so I found a way to make it happen. Good Luck in your search.

The standard hospital stay for vsg is 48 hours. I had surgery on Thursday afternoon and was released early Sat morning.
