I NEED HELP PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!! ASAP!

OK. so i went to the bariatric seminar last week at johns creek. come to find out it was not where i needed to be. I have wellcare. I called georgia healthy families and I am 7 days past my 90d to change to peachstate so i put in a call to research it to possibly override and switch. If they wont. i need a doc that takes wellcare and a place to do it at. I am going to call again dekalb medical tomorrow. I know i can get an appeal won with who ever **** i had a heart attack and my doc said the weight goes or i go pretty much. and my heart causes constant chest pain when i tryto work out so i cant exercise at this point. nor take weight loss meds due to my heart. i have CAD and microvascular disease. SO i feel certian I can win an appeal with either wellcare or peachstate without the one yr diet thing. and besides I have been tryin to loose weight for a year. adn its just not happening i am gaining. i need this surgery soon!!!!! I have a daughter to live for. Someone help me. I need a surgeon that takes Wellcare at this point and will fight with me to win the appeal. I am loosing a health battle here and someone has to help me. I am only 33 and i want to live. please give me advice, surgeon names or ways to beat the system at this complicated runaround i am getting.

Hello Julie, I work in the Medical Insurance field and it was my understanding that with your type of insurance you can change every 30 days. Give Peachstae or your case worker a call and tell them that you do not want Wellcare anymore and change as soon as you can. I know Medicare patients that have a HMO plan which is what you have a Medicad HMO plan they are able to change every 30 days to whatever plan they want. Please give it a try instead of trying to find a Wellcare doctor? Please keep me posted.....Etoria 

I just got off the phone with Ga Healthy Families. I can not switch for a year. I am out of my 90 period to switch by a week, and now I am locked into Wellcare for a year till my annual change. So I am on the phone trying to find a Wellcare provider for Bariatric Surgery. Has anyone with Wellcare had this done and who did they use????

When you went to Emory Johns Creek were you able to talk to someone about this? If you have the person who did the class you need to call them and see which doctors do accept your insurance.
