Yea for you......Congratulations. I think we all feel the same way. Once we get a date, then we get nervous, but I promise it will be so worth it. I used Dr. Hobson too. He did an excellent job and he was always EARLY for everything. I never had to wait in the "holding" room and wait for my doctor....he was there before they had ME ready. My scars are almost invisible (he glues instead of staples).

I had a wonderful experience with him and the hospital. I have nothing bad to say about that part of the process at all. I had alot to say about the office BEFORE approval....I didn't like my surgical coordinator at all, but since then EVERYONE has been spectacular.

I did read your story and I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard it has been on you and the kids. You definitely need to take care of yourself and stay healthy. I feel better than I have felt in years. It is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I will keep you in my prayers. Let me know when you get a date for your surgery.

You are so sweet! I am so glad you have had a good experience. I had trouble with my coordinater as well. She sat on my approval for a while and I was less than pleased. She finally got it done but was a poor communicator. I will meet Dr. Hobdon on the 17th. As resolved as I am about having this surgery, I am feeling weepy and scared. Did that happen for you? I feel kind of stupid because so much prep has gone into it one would think I had this part covered. Thanks for being there for me and congratulations!!!

Hey there, just wanted to pass my congrats on to you via your post! *HUGS* You're going to do just fine! I know what you mean re: the weepy feeling and being scared; but I think that's got to be a natural reaction.  Just gotta keep the positive thoughts train goin' and remember our surgeons are highly skilled and are looking out for us every step of the way.  It's all good!
