Psychologist in the Warner Robins area?

Hi! I am wondering if there is anyone in the Warner Robins or middle GA (about an hour south of Atl) who knows of a good local psych for my wls evaluation? I went to a Dr. Williams in Macon about a month ago, and I can't get him to return my calls. He did call and said he faxed his report to Emory and mailed me my copy, but that was a week and a half ago and neither of us has anything from him. I am frustrated and I am just going to go elsewhere and have it done. I am just trying to save myself from another trip to Atl. So if anyone knows of a good psych, let me know.  Thanks!

Hi Kellybinga... I'm here in Macon going through the same process. Iam scheduled to see Dr. Elizabeth Soety off of 121 Carl Vinson Parkway, there in Warner Robins, Ga. on the 9th of June. But my PCM they have not faxed my paperwork let. And what they did fax was the wrong information. Hopefully it will be faxed tomorrow. Lets keep our fingers crossed. My Doctor is Dr Steinberg in Decatur, Ga. But if I were you I would keep calling them until it's faxed. And if youre not satisfied with that go to his office until it's done and you see them do it...The only thing i have left until it's submitted to my insurance company is dietician eval on the 4th of June, and the psychological eval on the 9th of June. And i will be on my way. What about you what all have you done so far... Michelle

Hi Michelle, So, I called and set up a second psych eval with Dr. Soety this morning, and wouldn't you know it I get a call from the first Dr. I went to (5 weeks ago) saying (again) that he was faxing my report to Emory. I called them just a few minutes ago and they did receive it this time! YAY! So not I am only waiting on my PCP to do my letter of medical necessity and my letter of medical clearance and they can submit to my insurance. I'm so EXCITED!!!! Thanks for the help!

Dr. Betsy Ryland is a wonderful bariatric psychologist. Her husband Dr. Greg Cox is also a psych that is in with my surgeon. You can get more info by calling my surgeons office at 912-264-9724, or  try emailing at [email protected] . I went to their website and it was down so calling the office might be the best way to get info. They are both wonderful and will get the paperwork in quickly. Phyllis

Guess what kellybinga, Her office (Dr Soety) called me this morning to say that they had a cancellation for 100 pm so they reschedule my appointment for tomorrow 3 June and my dietician appt is on the 4th of June. My PCM finally faxed off my clearance today... Yeah i'm right behind you with the insurance clearance.

Went to my psych eval today. To me that test asked too many crazy questions. She stated that the report would be ready in about two weeks. But I really dont know what to think is there a pass or no pass type of deal with this test. I don't know what to say nor feel about this eval.
