Anyone out there have experience with Dr. Macik?

Hi, New member here.  Surgery tentatively planned for sometime in August pending insurance approval.  Dr. Paul Macik is the bariatric surgeon in my network.  Has anyone out there used him for bariatric surgery? If so, would love to hear from you.  Were you satisfied?  What were your overall experiences? Lorene

Hello, I am scheduled to have surgery with DR Macik on 06/25/08. My experience with him thus far has been good. I do know a lot of people that have used him that I work with, and they have nothing but good things to say about him, and his staff. Wish you well.

Hello,  7 years ago I had RNY surgery with Dr. Edward Waits and Dr. Macik assisted.   Since then Dr. Macik did a lap-band on my daughter (4 years ago).  We are very satisfied and it was a good experience.  He is a fine surgeon as well as a very kind man.     I work as a Bariatric Program Assistant at North Fulton Regional Hospital and he does Weight Loss Surgery here as well.   It is a pleasure working with him.

Hello, Dr. Macik did my RNY last May and I have nothing bad to say. He has been good to me and always answers all questions and concerns. He gives me great feedback. I have a appointment with him as a matter of fact on 6/12. My weight lost has slowed down and he says he has ways to help pick it back up. I have lost about 107 lbs now and I thank him for all his support.  Good luck in your journey!  ~Divine~
