I'm Home!!
Well the Dr said the surgery went well and overall i'm feeling decent... could be worse. I'm sore which is to be expected, but doing much better today. I REALLY do NOT feel like eating (bleh!) but i'm making sure I get my protein shakes down and trying to get as much water down as i can.
I can feel the gas moving around and making noises - bleh! But I just keep walking trying to get it to loosen up! About how many days did you have the bad gas pains after surgery? I am hoping it eases up soon.
It feels good to be home... thanks for all the well wishes - you gys are the BEST!
P.S. A HUGE thank you to Dr Hart, Emory Johns Creek Hospital & Rita for being awesome and getting me through the surgery!!

The day of surgery I wasn't really thirsty (they will keep you hydrated via an IV) but my mouth was horribly dry - the nurse was able to bring me a mouth moistner-thingy (foam on a stick and a tiny bit of water). It helped a lot, but you cannot squeeze the water out b/c they don't want do drinking anything until you have the dye test the next day. I have to make myself drink right now - i just dont want to, but that is just me.
Good Luck on Tuesday and keep us posted! You will be in my thoughts!
