Dr Scott Davis
Hi! I am in the process of getting approved for Lap-Band, and I am going to Dr. Davis. My friend also had her gastric bypass with him. I absolutely love him so far. I attended a seminar hosted by him and I also had my first surgical consult with him. I found him to be very knowledgeable and patient (I had a MILLION questions 
). The rest of the staff is another story. Not that they are mean or rude, I just do not feel that they are very helpful. This is just my opinion, and that has just been my experience so far. His assistant (I think her name is Shondra) was awesome too. Mainly it is the people at the surgical center and the people who answer the phones when I call Bariatrics. Anyway, it is not enough to make me want to switch surgeons. If you have anymore questions, let me know!

I LOVE Dr. Davis. I have had the best experience with him. Not only is he so nice and patient...really wanting to answer all of your questions and give you the best information to help you make an educated decision. I have loved the whole process so far. His office tells EXACTLY what you need in their office before they submit it to your insurance...this allows them to send it ONE time to your insurance with EVERYTHING your insurance company should need to approve you. I also had an amazing experience the day of all my tests. It was so well organized and I could not believe how FAST I got all of those tests done!!! It just seemed like a well oiled/run machine. There were no kinks in my process and everyone I have talked with have been so nice. The problem that I have come up against right now is of my own doing. I feel that RNY surgery is the better surgery for me and my success. I was originally cleared for Lap Band!! They are now re submitting to my insurance to get me cleared for RNY surgery now!! I am scheduled for June 24th and Dr. Davis still thinks I will be able to do that date:-) Praying that my insurance will be quick in their approval!!!
