Doc in ATL?

Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Atlanta area? (or Marietta)  I want to meet with someone to discuss my options and I don't know where to start.

I had my surgery Jan 7, 2008 at Emory Hospital, surgeon was John Sweeney.  He is wonderful!!!!  Emory Bariatric Center has informational seminars periodically that are really helpful.  I have included information below:

I used Dr. John Daly in Atlanta.  His number is 404-252-0433.  He is a wonderful surgeon and has a great bedside manner as well.  His office staff is very helpful and quick to respond.  Julie

My husband and I both had lapband surgery in Jan, We used Peachtree Bariatric's...Dr.Rashid. I can't say enough good about her and the care we've gotten. I've had a few wierd medical things happen...not related to surgery and they have taken such good care of me and gone above and beyond.

I cant really reccomend a dr but I do know that I will be attending a New patient seminar with  Dr Hart on Thursday of this week.  I hear he is a really good surgeon.  Im going to the 3p appt.  We could find out together .   Good luck on your search.  Its a lot to learn and absorb... I am a b it overwhelmed myself. 

Dr. Daly was the only surgeon who would take my case because I was so high-risk.  He was able to perform a Laproscopic RNY on me, because of my size, and other medical issues, it was iffy that lap could be done.  My surgery took 8 hours because of complications not related to the actual surgery but because of adhesions from a previous abdominal surgery that I had.  I'm down 150 pounds in 8 months and i'm very grateful that he is such a skillful surgeon and took my case on.  I wrote a detail review of Dr. Daly on my profile.  If you have any questions, please send me a message.  Good Luck as you begin your journey.
