8 1/2 hours and counting

In 8 1/2 hours I will be at the hospital having my RNY. It is finally here. Tomorrow I will become a loser. Keep me in your prayers. Thanks for all of the encouragement.

Well, my surgery was smooth and easy. I went home the next day as soon as I did my leak test.

I'm on stage 2 which is full liquids until tomorrow. Tomorrow is stage 3, which seems to me to still be basically liquids except I can add instant potatoes, cream of wheat and V8 juices.

It doesn't bother me being on the liquids because I'm really not hungry. The only thing I want is FLAVOR....I wouldn't care if it was liquid flavor....just flavor. That's the only thing I miss right now.

I am still very happy I had this done. I honestly have not had one complication.....Thank you God.

Hopefully you will get a date soon. Who are you using as your surgeon?
