Home from Hospital
I'm home from the hospital. On monday (4/14/08) I went in Emory and Dr Lin removed my remnant stomach and did some work on my pouch....this was after over a year of pain and problems with my remnant stomach.
Now because he did some work on my pouch, I'm back to the begain. I'm on clear liquids for a week and then whole liquids for a week and then soft foods for a week and so on.
I had my WLS in 2004, so I need some help from you all. I need a list of what I can and can't have on the weeks ahead. I'm a new post-op again.
Martha

I don't know if this is helpful, but after lap band we were on liquids, but that included anything really soft and sort of runny...like cottage cheese, cream of wheat, soups without solids...so things like cream of broccoli was fine because it was so mushy etc. Basically didn't need to chew.
Then we went to soft foods...things that were really soft, but required chewing. After a week of that I think we could do soft meat...its a little fuzzy :D
Happy Mending!
