Hi Everyone!

Hi there!  I am totally new to this site and based on past experience, I have learned the importance of finding a good support group BEFORE I do something!   I am having my 2nd consultation with Dr. Daly.  I had done one last year and even got through pre-testing and met with the nutritionist when we found out that it wouldn't be covered.  Oh, and I also freaked out about getting banded due to my  "food addiction".  Well, I am happy to say that I have thought long and hard and know that I NEED this.  I have twin toddlers that I am barely able to keep up with.  I want my life back.  I used to be a healthy weight (never skinny...sigh) but developed PCOS and the weight shot up without control.  It is scary!  Now with Type 2 Diabetes looming at my door along with so many other issues due to health, I am ready! I'm hoping to make some good friends that are going through this or have been through this for support.  My family is great about it as are my friends, so I know I am very blessed in that respect.  If anyone has gone to Dr. Daly and has advice, I'm all ears!  I'm hopefully going to be scheduled in June.  I live in the Alpharetta area.  We all know the deal , we know what to do , we know how to eat, excercise take our multivitamins ,iron , calcium and enjoy the success that we have worked so hard in achiving. We also know that we need the support of those that have traveled down the road beofre us. Sometimes, we make some mistakes, sometimes we gain back some of the weight that we worked so hard to loose. Time to get back on the path and enjoy the journey !
